This short story, The Grey Man, is a tribute to the master of horror himself, Stephen King.

Port Alberni, 1974—where the fog rolled in thick, the mills burned sulphur into the sky, and every kid knew the town’s one rule:
“Nothing good ever happens here.”

That summer, the fog was not just weather.
Children wandered into it and came back different.
Dogs refused to drink.
And behind it all was something waiting… something ancient… something that whispered,
“The Grey Man wants to take away the pain.”
