Delhi is experiencing a flood scare as the Yamuna river's water level has reached dangerously high levels. The water at Delhi's Old Railway Bridge touched 205.55 meters on Monday afternoon, breaching the danger mark. This morning, the level further increased to 205.79 meters, nearing the 206-meter evacuation mark. A flood advisory has been issued for the capital, and the Met department has predicted additional rain and thunderstorms. Water has entered residential areas of Yamuna Bazaar, and residents near the river bank have been asked to relocate to safer places. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the affected areas to assess the situation. Administration is on high alert, with 37,601 cusecs of water released from Bhatnikund Barrage and 68,230 cusecs from Wazirabad Barrage.
