Hobi recently shared an update on his life in LA. It was a fun recap of his journey so far.

Hobi's post was a mix of selfies, his members, places he went to, and more. The way I screamed when I saw the Labubu was unhealthy lol I have nothing against Labubu, but I don't understand the obsession with the plush toy. So when Hobi posted that he owns one, I was like "Noooooo" lol But then I discovered something....

First, let's talk about Taehyung. Tae donned a black shirt and jeans when he left the Incheon International Airport about a week ago. Taehyung opted for a classic look that day, but he mixed it up with a trendy accessory -- a Labubu. Don't worry, Labubu lovers, this video will show how Taehyung changed my mind about Labubus. For now, let's talk about Taehyung's July 6 Instagram post. Tae posted 20 snaps that range from cute to sexy to hot to Labubus.

On July 17, actress and singer Suzy Bae posted a snap where Taehyung could be seen with a Labubu box. Taehyung may be collecting these popular plush toys, as he has already flaunted three of them so far. One at the airport. And two on his Instagram post. But then Hobi uploaded this on his August 5 IG post. Did Taehyung give the blue Labubu doll to Hobi? After all, its name is Hope. But this is where the "awww" moment became an "omg" moment for me. Taehyung got the red and blue, right? We now know that the Blue one that he most probably gave to Hobi is Hope. So the one left to him is the red one. And its name is... That's right. Taehyung got "Hope and Love" for him and Hobi. As if that wasn't enough, this was Taehyung's song choice for his post.

Is the Labubu VHOPE's Flamingo 2.0?? For those who didn't know, Taehyung previously gifted Hobi a Flamingo doll. Hobi is a man of his word because he still has the Flamingo displayed in his studio. However, there was a time when Hobi forgot how he got the Flamingo, and ARMY had to remind him it was from Taehyung. I hope he will not forget who gave him the Labubu!

Taehyung's gifts for Hobi always have a special meaning behind them. He got Hobi the blue Labubu doll because its name is Hope. And Taehyung did everything in his power to win that Flamingo doll because Hobi loved that bird and had not seen one in real life. Taehyung previously told some white lies to win the Galaxy Buds. As it turned out, he did all that just to give them to Hobi. Taehyung's love and affection for Hobi have not changed all these years. Here he was confessing back in 2020 to how much he wanted Hobi's praise. Fast forward to August 2025, and he's still that same boy wanting to be close to Hobi.
