sosua located in the Puerto Plata province of the Dominican Republic, Sosúa is a charming coastal town that is situated only around 4 miles (6.4 km) away from the Gregorio Luperón International Airport in San Felipe de Puerto Plata. The town is divided into three distinct areas, including El Batey, which is the primary tourist hub and situated at the eastern end of the main beach, Playa Sosúa. The other two areas are Los Charamicos, located at the western end of the beach, and Sosúa Abajo, situated northward towards the airport. Sosúa can be accessed through Camino Cinco or Highway 5, which runs along the country's northern coastline.
