In My Life was written by John Lennon for the 1965 album Rubber Soul. Incidentally Andy appeared in a Lennon biopic called 'In His Life' for NBC in 2000, playing the part of Len Garry, one of John's school pals, and bass player in the Quarrymen. The film is still shown on satellite TV now and then...
