Since that day in 1912, when 25-year-old Walter Vogt made his dream come true and founded a watch company in Grenchen, there were many impressive milestones in the history of Fortis.

From producing the first automatic wrist watch in series to the first watch spending most time in open space, to the first tool watch made of recycled stainless steel – Fortis always has been at the forefront of robust Swiss watches made for everyday use.
