Filmed 24th September 2020 on Rail replacement between Telarah & Newcastle Interchange is this 2009 Scania K270IB with a Custom Coaches built "SB400" series body.

These K270IB Buses rarely make it onto rail replacement with them only ever making it out on the slight chance emergency rail replacement occurs or weekday trackwork extends beyond Maitland down to Newcastle. These have never been seen operating rail replacement of a weekend unfortunately so there is very little chance for the general public to get to ride them.

There are only 10 K270IB buses with SB400 bodies in the entire CDC NSW fleet, all 10 reside at the Thornton Depot with two being in TransportNSW livery. It is believed these were the last Custom Coaches bodied highfloors CDC ordered before switching to Volgren as it's preferred bodybuilder of choice.
