In June of 1985, Harold Whitmore learned he had three weeks to live.
He had one request: to bring in his last harvest himself. But he
couldn't do it alone. His son Daniel—a lawyer in Chicago who hadn't
been home in fifteen years—would have to come back. What happened
in those three weeks, on a dying man's farm in Kansas, is a story
about everything that goes unsaid between fathers and sons. And
what happens when there's finally no time left to stay silent.

This story draws from real agricultural history of the 1970s-80s.
Characters and dialogue are dramatized for storytelling.
