Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club & Cotswold Wildlife Park

Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club site is the first of 5 sites we are visiting during our summer break from work.

The site itself is set in a secluded location, surrounded by fields and hedgerows, offering a peaceful and tranquil environment. It consists of 92 pitches, with a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches, all of which are suitable for caravans and motorhomes. The site is well-maintained and offers excellent modern facilities including a shower block, laundry facilities, and a motorhome service point. The site also has a small shop on-site, which stocks all the essentials you will need during your stay.

One of the main attractions of Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club Site is its location. The site is situated just a short distance from the historic town of Burford. The town is famous for its beautiful medieval architecture and charming streets filled with independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There are plenty of historic landmarks to explore, including Burford Church, which dates back to the 12th century.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the site is ideally located for exploring the Cotswolds. The area is renowned for its beautiful countryside, rolling hills and picturesque villages. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore, with many starting directly from the site. The Cotswolds Way, a 102-mile long distance footpath, runs through the area and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

There are also plenty of attractions nearby that are perfect for families with children. Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens is just across the road from the site entrance and offers the chance to see a wide range of animals, including lions, giraffes and penguins. The park is set in 160 acres of beautiful parkland and offers plenty of opportunities for children to explore, play and learn. The Park is also dog friendly
