FujiFilm Finepix S4000 (Review)

I bought this camera on sale for $199US. Original price is $250US. Don't let it's price fool you. This is a high quality camera. It's specs/lense and features rivals similar digital SLR type cameras selling for much more! I would highly recommend this digital super zoom camera for those wanting to get into the SLR super zoom style cameras without having to pay one months salary or more. Very easy to use with it's 3 auto modes: AUTO, SRAUTO and SP. Then you have your manual settings: P, S, A, M, C, for those who want more control of the shutter speed, aperture etc. Panarama is a breeze to use and there is no need to use a pc to edit and put them together, it does it automatically. Video mode has 720p, zooming can be a little noisy but you can silence it by holding down the Disp/Back button to disable sound. I have tested that out yet though. The S4000 can do Macro and Super Macro modes, dual image stabilizations. The special face recognition is pretty neat. It knows who the person is that your taking a photo of. There names will pop up when it recognizes that person, for faster focusing. The 30x zoom is amazing! the quality of photos are great even at it's maximum zoom, thanks to the dual image stabilization and face recognition. Turn on the Digital zoom along with Optical and you have 201.0x zoom! (If you live in States. Pick one up at Costco on sale for $199)
