Seventh round of the 1993 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix Season. Kevin Schwantz, Suzuki teammate Alex Barros, and Mick Doohan all engage in a thrilling race long battle which leaves Barros set to take his first ever victory, only to crash out on the penultimate lap of the race. This leaves Schwantz to take his fourth victory of the season, despite a desperate last corner lunge from Doohan, with Àlex Crivillé finishing third.
