Accessing your intuition.

What is it?

Your intuition is a deep feeling within that goes past your logical brain. It is a deep wisdom that, in it's purest form, always has the best and most loving intentions for you and others. It is pure love.

Before you barf, it's also just awesome. It will, if listened to, help your life be more fulfilling, peaceful, and in alignment with the "you" you really know you are deep down.

How to access it?

1- Listening to yourself deeply. This does not just mean trivial thoughts saying "I like this or I dislike you". It will feel like a deep knowing within yourself.

2- Trusting the "little voice", "gut feeling", "deep knowing instincts". This can be hard to do. Sometimes it will nudge you towards huge life decisions that defy societal logic. If this is terrifying to you, start small. Use the little voice to discover what you want to eat, or who to call, or what to watch. You can take as long as you need to build trust with this side of you. ♥

3- If applicable, looking back to a time when you felt that you didn't listen to your gut feeling. What happened? Do you think it could have been a different path if you followed it, and in what way?

An exercise.

Whenever you wish, when you're brushing your teeth, falling asleep, or just bored, try this:

Close your eyes, and breathe.

Ask yourself 'how am I really feeling?', 'who am I?', or 'how do I do ____?'.

Stay silent and wait for an answer.

It may come in the form of a tiny voice, a body impulse, a vision.

It is innately kind feeling though.

The more you interact with it the more clear it becomes.

If you try this exercise and still nada or nothing, no worries! Sometimes these things take time, and sometimes you can hear the answer externally. A newspaper headline, a random memory popping up with the answer. The main thing is to be open to starting a new form of dialogue with yourself, however it works for you.
