Trick is use of buff properly and debuff respectively.

for free units, unit like Mana will be helpful. if you have Yuna(even normal) bring her as well as Mariel. so the trick is the boss will do 3x claw attack, posion aoe, blaze claw then he will charge. all of this are physical or PWR base attack so use Yuna debuff PWR skill. Mariel will either use Aurora Force in Blaze Claw turn or Charge turn of the boss depend on what you think you are flexible to and Mana should use Practical too to increase resistance and regen. later he after he attack he will breath which is a INT Base attack. use Mana remove-buff-debuff skill so you can remove the INT buff. use it before he will breath then use Yuna debuff INT skill. Mariel shield+Mana debuffing the INT buff+Yuna debuff will keep you safe even if your hp is 60%.

the 60% hp of the boss is AF Stopper. his pattern will change from 3xclaw attack to posion aoe(+Buff), Blaze Claw then he will Charge with fix 1500 damage to everyone then Destructo Flame. just like the first strategy, keep debuffing and buffing. but you must use debuff often here because he will keep buffing and buffing.

Mariel Cure Leaf, Cradle and Aurora Force are life saver here while Mana debuffing tricks are turn table. while Akane is AS, you can substitute him with any strong fire units you have. although the battle will take too long. having Grasta that reduce mana consumption for Mariel, Mana is helpful.
