The 2024 Coach Webinar Series, presented by Gallagher, kicks off with Dr Rebecca Shangraw and Grace Payne.

Grace is a Sargent Shriver Global Messenger, Basketball player, and powerlifter, from Special Olympics New Zealand.

Dr Shangraw is a Senior Lecturer of Applied Human Development in the BU-Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, where her research interest involves identifying and investigating recommended teaching practices to use when instructing athletes who have specific learning disabilities, ADHD, or autism spectrum disorders.

Dr Shangraw discusses teaching and learning in Special Olympics with skills coaches can utilise when coaching their athletes.
