Today we're going to take a look at the anti-rattle hitch pin for the two inch trailer hitches. Now, this anti-rattle hitch pin will dramatically reduce any movement or vibration between your hitch and the ball mount. It is designed to be used on hollow, shank ball mounts and accessories. It does include all these parts laid out here on the table. The threaded bolt with the washer, and the clip threaded block with a spring attached, and the sleeve. It is a sturdy steel construction.Now this anti-rattle pin will help reduce play and vibration in your hitch connection.

I do want to demonstrate that. Happened to pull. Here's a hollow shank ball mount you can see here. And what you want to do first is you take this threaded block with the spring that's attached and put it inside the ball mount. Just squeeze the spring together to get started.

There we go. And then once you get it started, what you want to do is just go ahead and push it up. And this line that clip and the spring, threaded portion with the hitch pin hole. And then what you want to do is insert this ball mount.I happened to pull.. Here's a two inch by two inch hitch receiver.

So when you go and slide this into your hitch receiver, you just line that up, like if you're going to put your normal pin and clip through there. And then what you'll do is you'll take this threaded pin right here and serve it through there. And then once it lines up, you can start threading it in, just like that. And you can see with a regular pinning clip, you can see how much play there is in the ball mount in the hitch. So, that's where you get your noise and rattle from.

So what this is going to do is eliminate that rattle. So you'll just go ahead and start snugging it up. And then what you'll do is take this sleeve and you'll slide the sleeve into the pitch pin hole.And then what you'll go ahead and do is take your seven eighths inch socket and you'll just go ahead and keep tightening it down. And you'll just snug it up as tight as you can get it. And once you get it nice and snug, now you can see that there's no movement at all. No movement, no rattle. It eliminates all that. And then you can just use your clip to clip it into place. Just like that. T.he other nice feature with this is we do sell separately. You can turn this hitch pin into a secure hitch lock using this snap on padlock that we sell separately. It's part number ACC 3250 and it is listed on this product page as a related product. All you have to do with that is just push it on and you can see just like that, it'll lock it. And now you have a secure. Nobody's going to be able to take that off. And then to remove it, just take your key, insert it in there, turn it, and you can release it just like that. So that's a nice feature. Again, that's sold separately.Otherwise it would just come with the normal clip like that. Now, a few specs on this. Again, it's designed to fit two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. The ball mount or hitch accessory that goes into it does have to have a hollow shank to be able to use that. And the pin diameter is a five eighths inch diameter.
