Hi there !
So as planned, whilst I was out testing Motos Matilla's Bear 650 ( Motos Matilla is a fantastic dealer for Royal Enfield motorcycles ( and other brands ) in Almería, Spain. Great people, great workshop, so definitely worthy of your consideration, should you live in this area and be considering buying a Royal Enfield ! ) I left Buddy with them so that they could whip off his four year old original CEAT tyres and replace them with the rather expensive Metzeler ROADTEC 01s.

After a very careful ride back from Almería on shiny tyres, this was the first ride where I was able to begin to get a bit more of a feel for Buddy's new rubber.

Join us on the ride from Bacares to Alto de Velefique as I chat about various things, whilst also giving live updates on how the new tyres feel to me.

And of course, as always, Ruby gets a "sossidge" at the end !

Many thanks too to Grace and Louie for helping their Dad to scrape the barnacles off his old R80 G/S after a muddy winter of riding. We will be featuring pictures of the entire cleaning process in a future video. When Ken cleans his bike it is basically a strip down, clean, check, make good any defects and rebuild. It's quite something to behold ! It's almost worthy of a video in itself !
