With concerns of concussions and soccer players, experts advice that the first step is in players learning how to head the ball properly. In this ProTips4U soccer instructional training video, superstar Abby Wambach demonstrates how to do a proper header. Abby's tips include how your neck, head and body can work together for the perfect header.

Abby Wambach is one of the most prolific goal scorers in U.S. Women's soccer history. A four-time winner of the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year Award, she has been a regular on the U.S. women's national team since 2003. Abby currently stands as the third highest all-time scorer for the USA Women's National Soccer Team, after Kristine Lilly and Mia Hamm.

Recently Abby won the FIFA Ballon d'Or for 2012 along with Lionel Messi as the best players in the world. The Ballon d'Or (Golden Ball) is the most prestigious award in all of soccer.

In 2004, Abby scored the winning goal in overtime against Brazil, giving the U.S. the Gold Medal in the Athens Olympics. Her amazing performance in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup (where the U.S. finished in second place) earned her the Bronze Boot and Silver Star award. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she helped lead the American team to the Gold medal.
