Behind the scenes at Ecologi 🌍 Meet Phil Sturgeon from Protect Earth

Meet Phil Sturgeon. After planting a whopping 100,000 trees with Ecologi, he realised there was a lot of scope for planting trees on agricultural lands and founded his own charity called Protect Earth.

Protect Earth’s novel method focuses on finding unused pockets of farm land to plant trees. This not only ensures their longevity, but this new approach also helps optimise agricultural land surfaces throughout the UK for tree planting. So far in 2021, over 1500 trees have been planted in various sites across Wales, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
