Contagion VR Outbreak has been sitting in my ridiculous VR games backlog for a couple of years now, one of many fairly low budget VR zombie games that I thought looked pretty cool but never got around to playing...until today! This cheap VR game (currently priced at £7.99) was actually quite a surprise, it's not up there with the best VR horror games but if you're after some decent spooky fun and want to smash some zombies up for a budget price point then Contagion VR Outbreak might just tick all the boxes. Today I'm having a look at the first level of the game, a well crafted VR zombie outbreak scenario which starts to spread through your apartment complex. Will I be able to survive the VR zombie apocalypse to reach my VR wife & child? Let's find out in this Contagion VR Outbreak gameplay impressions video...

I captured all this Contagion VR Outbreak gameplay using a Quest 2 airlink connection, sadly there is no native Contagion VR Outbreak Oculus Quest 2 version / Contagion VR Quest 2 version but the game ran well on a wireless connection to the headset from Steam (with the exception of one outdoor scenario which started to drop a few frames). It certainly won't go down as one of the best VR games / best VR horror games ever but this cheap VR title will definitely give you a few hours of zombie blasting fun, it's just a huge shame there is no co-op mode!
