Join me as I take you through a walkthrough of my beautiful hybrid folio/journal which is themed around Alice in Wonderland.
I will also be finishing the front closure in this video.
I really enjoyed designing and creating this folio, I hope you like it too.

Construction of the folio/journal:    • Alice folio journal hybrid construction  

Cutting guide:
4 sheets of 250gsm (90-100lb) cardstock, plus 1 extra for pockets etc.
2 sheets of 176gsm (65lb) cardstock - for waterfall.
Layering cardstock and patterned paper.

Folio base:
4 sheets 250gsm 8 1/4"x 11".
1 scored @ 2", 2 1/4", 8 1/4", 9 1/4" on 11" side-mark as Left side
1 scored @ 2 1/4", 8 1/4", 8 1/2" on 11" side - mark as Right side
2 scored @ 5 1/2" on 11" side
extra sheets:
Inside Left flap pocket- cut 2 1/2" x just shy of 9 1/4", scored @ 1/2" on 2 short sides and 1 long side.
Waterfall Pocket- cut 2 1/2" x just shy of 7", scored @ 1/2" on 2 short sides and 1 long side.
Waterfall closure- cut 1 1/2" x 7" scored @ 1/2" on 7" side

Waterfall: 176gsm:
cut 1 @ 4 1/4" x 7"
cut 1 @ 4 1/4" x 8"
cut 1 @ 4 1/4" x 9"
score each of these strips @ 3 1/4" on both long ends
