Little Tessie Brown has many suitors in her small village, but her heart belongs to her chosen suitor, John Watson. When her father's childhood friend, Mr. Bach, arrives in town he becomes smitten with Tessie. Her father see’s an opportunity to marry her off to a rich man, locks her in her room, thwarting her plans to elope with John. When Mr. Bach becomes aware of their plans; he does the right thing, helps them to escape and takes them to a minister so they can be married.
True love prevails in this charming tale. Filmed in Westfield, New Jersey.
