J'y Vais Tech Mobility SNCF press conference

David Borot and Laurent Eisenman from SNCF Tech4Mobility invited us to the inauguration of the innovative JYVAIS experiment. The event took place this Friday, May 17, 2024 at 12:30 pm, at the Maison du Brie de Meaux, Office de Tourisme Meaux Marne Ourcq Tourisme, located at 5, place Charles-de-Gaulle in Meaux.

Deployed across the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Meaux and the Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Ourcq, from May to October 2024, the JYVAIS experiment represents a major step forward in rural transport. This new door-to-door shared rural transport-on-demand service is designed to respond specifically to the needs of rural areas, thanks to a sophisticated route algorithm and an adapted offer design.

Among the personalities present at the inauguration were Jean-François Copé, former Minister, Mayor of Meaux and President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Meaux, Jean-Michel Morer, Mayor of Trilport and Vice-President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays, responsible for Mobility, Roads and Parking, Franck Goudry, Vice-President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Meaux, responsible for Economic Development, à l'Attractivité du territoire et au Tourisme, and President of Meaux Marne Ourcq Tourisme, Pierre Eelbode, President of the Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Ourcq and Mayor of Crouy-sur-Ourcq, Francis Chesné, Vice-President of Transport for the Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Ourcq and Mayor of Vendrest and Bernadette Beauvais, Vice-President of Meaux Marne Ourcq Tourisme, Vice-President of Culture, Tourism and Communication for the Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Ourcq and Mayor of Étrépilly.

The event is supported by the Département de Seine-et-Marne, France Mobilités and ADEME, who recognize the importance of this initiative in improving mobility in rural areas.
