Darth Plagueis the wise was in some ways Anakin Skywalker's father. As we discussed in yesterday's video, Darth Plagueis' attempts to bend the will of the force, ultimately resulted in the force reacting by creating the chosen one, the bringer of balance. The creation of Anakin Skywalker was a terrifying prospect for Plaguies who believed that the boy would be the Siths undoing. Unknown to many Star Wars fans, Plagueis was indeed alive during the events of the Phantom Menace. When he laid eyes on Anakin setting foot on Coruscant for the first time, Plagueis was struck by a powerful force vision of a black helmeted cyborg rising from a table, radiating hatred. Realising the importance of the boy, Plagueis attempted to find Anakin within his chambers. However, he was shocked to discover he had already been taken to the Jedi. The soon to be dead Plagueis realised in that moment that the force was now working against the Sith and that this boy would lead to their end.
