A Night in Llyn y Fan Fach Rescue Shelter - Wild Camping gone wrong!

My and my son headed to Llyn y fan fach with a tent intending to go wild camping for the night. It was a night that had gone wrong and the rain and cold weather made it unbearable to camp outside. The weather was horrific so we decided to make use of the rescue shelter. There was not much more than two benches and a fireplace plus a drafty door. The only way to shut the door was to push big rocks against it during the night. It still made a way better shelter than pitching a tent. The howling wind kept us awake from 1am-2am though against the steel roof of the rescue shelter. However we still had a good night an my son really enjoyed the experience!
