Gabriel Miró chose Parcent as a haven of peace, surrounded by terraces with vineyards, olive and almond trees. Currently, this municipality of Marina Alta offers wonderful landscapes where its agricultural character reigns reflected in the arched "rius raus".
The series entitled "Alicante, town by town" is being produced by the Image and Promotional Department of the Provincial Institution with the objective to make each of the Alicante’s localities known in an attractive and intimate way, reflecting its landscape, historical, cultural and urbanistic peculiarities.
