SGP – Smart glue pot for SCM edgebanders

SGP glue pot guarantees constant melted glue quality over time, dosage always under control,
speed and cleaning, perfect glue line to SCM edgebanders.
SGP glue pot has been designed to minimize the amount of melted glue that recirculates in
order to avoid undesirable quality decay. The architecture “from the top” allows you to always have new melted glue, rather than re-using previously melted glue.
An efficient closing system (exclusive SCM patent) allows to stop the glue pot instantly, with no
leakage of glue, and with no more unproductive waiting time due to the lowering of temperatures with the roller moving and the glue recirculation.
A perfect appearance of the edged panel is obtained both with the intelligent management of
the dosage (with the NC mode it manages according to the type and thickness of the panel and / or the type of glue) and with the new spreading roller that optimizes the thickness of the glue line thanks to the new and exclusive design.
The SGP glue pot allows an extremely lean and flexible production, as it can work with both EVA
and PUR glue. It can be loaded both manually and with automatic pre-melters depending on the required productivity. The glues can be interchanged thanks to the automatic cycle of glue change / cleaning with the discharge into a removable collection box.
The SGP glue pot is available on SCM edgebanding machines, both stefani top range and stefani
entry level range.
