We Need to Talk about NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo is a 25-year organization who's made some big missteps in the past year or so. Let's talk about their statement that refuses to condemn AI-generated novels, their forum mistakes from 2023, their sponsorship issues from 2022, and why I've deleted my account and am removing any reference to them in the work I do in the writing field, including the novel writing companions I'm working on creating in Notion.
