Recording analog video signal on standard audio tape

Описание к видео Recording analog video signal on standard audio tape

Just a weird science experiment what happens if you try to record a video signal onto an audio tape.
Are you sure it will not work? You never can tell till you try!

This is my response to    / @dedicatedtolivinginthepast   's video series trying to do pretty much the same. He however is building a Frankenstein Homebrew VERA (aka the first video recorder ever, from 1952). I'm doing it the boring way but I'm trying to see if the cassette deck's electronics even have enough bandwidth for recognizable video.

6:52 Pioneer CT939

Problems with this video:
I didn't notice I set the color temperature on the camera way too reddish, it only has a monochrome viewfinder. Unfortunately, it's too much to correct it in editing (there's 2 sequences I tried, but it barely makes a difference)
There's too little space for too much e-waste.
I'm pointing the camera all over the place.
I still might get a copyright strike for that 8 second Weird Al Yankovic snippet. If that happens, well, I'll try to snip it to one line (4 seconds) and if that still strikes, too bad, then I have to do without it. You probably won't even notice it's running ON the Commodore 64, including the music.
