This is my submission for the IMFC 2024 Competition.
Quick explanation of my concept below:
I have decided to go for electric synthesizers, pads, and effects because during the lockdown, people were surrounded and consumed by electronics. The small motifs played by the instruments symbolize intertwining thoughts of uncertainty, a sense of loss of freedom, sadness, and loneliness. The steady bass beat is meant to symbolize the monotony accompanying us each day during the pandemic, as well as to illustrate the noise in the head caused by overstimulation of the brain. Subtle deviations towards major tonalities reflect positive emotions in the hope for a better world.

Mixing and composing using electronic instruments is for me a new (difficult) thing. I will be happy if you could leave some advices for me in the comment. Thank you for listening!
