This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Peak Edition 8-passenger SUV.The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas is one of the biggest three-row SUVs in its class! The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. In Canada, standard AWD and in the US, FWD and AWD options are available. You can put regular fuel in the Atlas.
This 2024 Volkswagen Atlas SUV is priced competitively. In Canada, the base Comfortline trim starts at $53,270 CAD, Peak Edition $57,270 CAD, Highline $60,270 CAD and Execline R-Line $63,270 CAD. We are driving the Peak Edition model which is a new trim for 2024. All pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees.
In the US, the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas SE FWD/AWD $37,995 USD/$39,895 USD, SE w/Tech FWD/AWD $42,100 USD/$44,000 USD, Peak Edition SE w/Tech $46,990 USD, SEL $48,880 USD, Peak Edition SEL $50,870 USD and SEL Premium R-Line $52,890 USD.
Fuel economy, the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas gets 12.2L/100 km, 19 MPG city and 9.2L/100 km, 26 MPG highway.
2024 Volkswagen Atlas standard features include, IQ.Drive, a 10.25” digital driver display, 12” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless charger, 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar, manual passenger seat with height adjustment, heated and ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, heated steering wheel and a power tailgate with easy open and close. In the US, the power tailgate is not standard.
