What I pack in my Bug Out Bag for the Summer. Includes rationale behind each item of kit and priority of packing. The all up weight of the bag is 28.4 lbs, including 3 days food and a litre of water.

Items carried in pockets aren't covered, such as map, compass, small torch, whistle and clasp knife.
