How to get 007 on a SEIKO TV display.

The setup: a laptop with HDMI Out to a HDMI converter which converts the signal to Analog video, which connects to the UT-66 Video Sender, which then sends a wireless signal to the SEIKO TV receiver. The receiver is connected with a cable to the SEIKO TV watch.

To get the signal to show up on the screen takes a lot of finetuning of the receiver and sender, and even then the signal was so weak that only high contrast, still images were visible. That’s why I decided to send a 007 logo to the display of the Seiko TV watch. The setup works for video, basically any HDMI or Analog video input can now be connected. but the video results are extremely blurry, only slow moving blobs.

This year it is 40 years ago since the SEIKO TV Watch appeared in the James Bond movie Octopussy, so you’ll be seeing more of the TV watch on Bond Lifestyle.
