hey guys, vani here! i co-founded afterboards.

my journey has seen its share of twists and turns: my initial plan to go abroad failed, i didn't clear ipmat-indore the first time around, i took a gap year, worked hard + grabbed opportunities, crack the exam the second time around, etc.

the main message: college is your y-intercept. you decide your slope. you can be as successful if not more successful than someone from a tier-1 college if you work smart and make opportunities for yourself.

yes, good colleges open a lot of doors, not contesting that — at the same time, your life isn't ruined... you're just getting started.
