this is a heavier storyline that while be split into multiple parts.
in this part, atsumu meets a man, who is later revealed to be sakusa, in his secluded hiding spot. they begin to meet daily in the same spot, and atsumu opens up to sakusa about his past abusive relationship. along the way, atsumu starts to see sakusa as more than a friend, and romantic feelings bloom that he never imagined he could feel again considering how traumatic his last relationship was.
meanwhile, osamu laments over the fact that his relationship with suna sits under the label of "friends with benefits." osamu wishes to remove sex from the center of their friendship and pursue a true relationship with suna. but, as every interaction seems to end up in sex, and suna hasn't dropped any hints, there is no telling if suna is open to or looking for that kind of relationship.
