Ep. 32 Twin Creeks-Baskins Creek-Grapeyard Ridge - 2024 Jan 13 (Sylvan Reflections)

This trip took me on a gentle stroll through the Cherokee Orchard area where I saw the Bud Ogle cabin and barn. Upon reaching the Baskins Creek trail, I not only began to climb a bit, but also to encounter what seemed like a unending series of blow-downs, causing me to end up with a couple hours of night hiking on those remaining 12 miles to camp! Along the way, I saw several cemeteries, settlers cabins, and the beautiful Baskins Creek Falls. I met some great guys at camp and saw the iconic steam engine of "Injun Creek"!
