How to measure the perfect spacer width? | ST suspensions

Описание к видео How to measure the perfect spacer width? | ST suspensions

This little measuring instruction makes it very easy to determine the exact space in your wheelhouse for a maximum wheel spacer stance.

Place your car on a flat spot and check if your tires have the proper air pressure. Use a spirit level and a measuring tape or inch rule to determine the gap between the widest tire flank and the outer edge of the fender. Do not forget to write down the measurements. Now you will need a slide caliper to measure the thickness of the fender edge. Afterward, simply subtract the measurement of the fender edge from the distance between tire flank and fender. One more hint: as a precautionary measure, remove another two to five millimeters for safety reasons to ensure there is enough clearance if a tire flank is wider than intended. You can find more information about our different ST spacer systems on our homepage - by the way, there is also a live chat for advice.
