WHAT CRYPTO IS AVAILABLE ON HUOBI?

According to CoinRanking, Huobi currently provides liquidity to 319 different cryptocurrencies. If you’re looking for coins like Polkadot, Solana, Luna, and even Doge and Shiba - then Huobi has it all.

Binance has way more coins, and you can just transfer USDT there from Huobi to there if you really wanted to.

HUOBI TRADING EXPERIENCE AND UI

The trading interface is pretty straightforward and works pretty much like a stock exchange would with charts, orders, and orderbook information.

HUOBI TRADING FEES

Huobi charges 0.2% for trading but unlike Luno, they have the same fee regardless of whether you’re a taker or maker.

This means that you can easily buy 5 or 10 USD worth of crypto since its percentage based with no minimum amount.

HOW TO DEPOSIT MONEY INTO HUOBI

Theyhave an easy way to deposit your fiat into crypto but I wouldn’t recommend going for the quick buy/sell option since I think the fees are relatively high.

Instead, I use the P2P market where I’m buying USDT - which is a stablecoin that always equals to 1USD. There are sellers there who will trade between MYR and USDT, and they make money from the spread which is fair.

You can also deposit crypto directly into your Huobi account.

HOW TO WITHDRAW MONEY FROM HUOBI

I haven’t tried changing from crypto to fiat but its the same process. The main point for me is withdrawing the crypto that I bought on Huobi, because I don’t actually hold much of my crypto here. Usually after I buy it, I transfer it to my wallet like Metamask.

They support quite a fair amount of networks when trying to withdraw and withdrawal fees are cheaper compared to Binance.

HUOBI EARN

If you don’t want to move your crypto to another wallet, Huobi Earn lets you stake your crypto to earn some income while you hold it. The rates are in line with what the networks are offering.

Currently, I use Huobi Earn for my Solana, Polkadot, and Matic because I didn’t find it to be worth staking out side of Huobi itself. I chose the flexible staking options so that I could unstake it whenever I wanted.

HUOBI PRIMELIST

This is essentially a sale of new tokens - like the IPO version of cryptocurrency. Basically, you stand a chance to buy a newly listed coin at its IPO price.

For example now, they have this thing called Magic Miner where if you complete some tasks every day you’re entitled to a lucky draw. This is how I got all my Shiba and Dogecoins.

HUOBI NFT

I got a free NFT just for signing up but I doubt those will be worth much.

IS HUOBI LEGIT?

If you’re looking to buy coins other than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple, then Huobi is a good choice. I still hold all of my Bitcoin and Ethereum in Luno though.

I use Huobi mainly as an exchange just to buy the coins, but then transfer it out to my own wallet. If you don’t wanna do this, then you can always use something like Huobi Earn.
