In the following minutes, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of assembling and installing a cooling tower to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

To kick off the erection process, start by placing the steel base frame, crafted from angle sections, onto the foundation. Ensure the flat horizontal segment faces upward, with the vertical side against the foundation. Once secure, position the lower FRP sheet onto the base frame, ensuring the smoother side faces downward.

Blend the liquid polyester resin with the hardener thoroughly. Apply the liquid polymer on the joints of the lower bottom FRP sheets, and position chopped strand mat strips over the joints. Distribute the polymer over the fiber reinforcement until fully cured.

Connect the FRP segments of the cooling tower casing using a hand drill machine, nut bolts, and washers. For model number 6080, prepare four walls, each composed of two segments, and place them on the bottom tray. Connect the corners using nut bolts and washers, inserting rubber gasket strips between the joints.

Attach louver segments on the upper part of the air inlet area, securing them from the outside using collars. Apply sealant adhesive on the joints of the louvers and the air inlet area from inside the casing.

Install the center vertical post and align the horizontal angle with the side walls, connecting it with the center vertical post. Attach filling support pipes in a cross direction using the filling support angle. Place filling support mesh over the pipes and arrange fillings in two layers.

Attach horizontal branch pipe support angles on the inner casing walls above the lower collar, securing them with vertical columns. Attach branch support pipes crossing the branch support angle and position distribution branch pipes (sub-headers) over them.

Secure header support angles over the sub-headers and attach header support pipes accordingly. Secure main inlet and other headers at designated points. Insert nozzle pipes from inside the tower, securing them with rubber gaskets and nut bolts.

Connect sub-headers to header pipes using connectors and position eliminators over the header support pipes, securing them with lock spacers. Attach top sheet support angles to the top inside collars of the opposite casing walls.

Attach other angles crossing over the top sheet support angles and secure small cut support angle pieces at designated points. Place the top sheet over the top angles and secure it to the casing with nut bolts. Secure the fan stack (cylinder) at the center round cut area of the top sheet using top support angles and nut bolts.

Attach louvers to the air intake window from the inside, securing each with nut bolts on three sides. The rest of the erection process will be covered in the next video.
