The iKettle 3rd Generation from Smarter.am is exactly what it says on the box. It's a smarter kettle. This wifi connected kettle not only allows you to boil your water to the specific desired temperature, but also allows you to schedule it in advance, or uses the location service of your cel phone to be able to know when you're almost home so the hot water is steaming and ready for your nice cup of tea after a long day at work. As someone who's been looking for an analog electric kettle to be able to plug into a smart plug, the iKettle 3 allows me to bypass the smart plug directly and gives me complete control using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or even let's me connect to IFTTT to create my own integrations. I totally understand that not everyone will want to pay for a smart kettle which essentially boils water. But for those of us who are addicted to making our houses a little bit smarter, the iKettle is a great purchase that looks great and really focuses on doing just one thing really well.
