The Dell U3417W offers a 34-inch curved In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, a 3440 x 1440 resolution, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. But while this monitor has plenty of features to get excited about, there's a reason it's less expensive than the Alienware.
