Welcome to the next installment of my Drone Electronics Prototyping series! In this video, I'll be continuing with the bench prototyping for the drone by configuring a TFMini-s LiDAR module. This Lidar connects using a serial interface. A TFmini LiDAR measures distance using laser light to detect objects and their proximity. It provides accurate readings for short-range applications like obstacle avoidance and to help detect altitude for precision landings.

Performance characteristics are:
- Measurement Range: 0.1 to 12 meters (indoor conditions) and 0.1 to 7 meters (outdoor conditions).
- Accuracy: ±6 cm within 0.1 to 6 meters; ±1% of distance within 6 to 12 meters.
- Resolution: 1 cm.
