This is the first short in this Stop Doing This In Minecraft! series.
How many of you have enchanted your Ax with Fortune 3? I know I have. I did it because I thought I would get more books, more mushrooms, and more cocoa beans, but alas, the Minecraft Wiki says otherwise. You could use a Fortune 3 ax to increase the drop rates of wheat seeds, potatoes, beet root seeds, and carrots when you harvest them, but so can other tools enchanted with Fortune 3. You could also get more sticks, saplings, and apples from oak and dark oak trees if you break leaves with a Fortune 3 Ax, but why not use a hoe? A hoe will get the job done faster. But if you want to add Fortune 3 to your Ax, please do! I'm just saying that it will only really benefit melon slices. You can eat melon slices or turn them into glistening melons for healing potions. There are better food sources like golden apples, golden carrots, and steak. You can't even stack healing potions! Maybe you have a specific plan for using potions. Who knows? I certainly don't know. Play Minecraft the way you want to play it and most importantly, have fun with it. I'm just trying to upload content every week and trying new things out. If I cast a big enough net, maybe I'll catch some subscribers? What do you think? Will you subscribe to my channel?
