This year Ukraine is ranked 130 out of 168 positions, sharing the same position with Cameroon, Iran, Nepal, Nicaragua and Paraguay, says Transparency International.

At present CPI of the country is 27 out of 100 possible - 1 point higher than it was last year.

"Such result was achieved due to public judgment of corrupt officials, establishment of anti-corruption bodies and emergence of the whistleblowers' movement," Transparency International said in a statement.

Ukraine Today's Viewpoint is joined by Andriy Marusov, Chairman of the Board of Transparency International Ukraine, to discuss its latest report on Corruption Perceptions.
