Welcome to Templett!

Hi, I’m Kim. I’m going to give you a brief overview of the design area so you can get started editing your purchased template on your mobile device.

The first thing you’ll notice on the left are your templates. Simply tap the template thumbnail to load the template you’d like to edit.

A message may pop up letting you know that it’s recommended to edit the template on a device with a larger screen. You will have less editing options when using a phone.

On the right hand side, you’ll have the option to open a panel to see all the pages of your template. If you want to change pages, just click the thumbnail for the page you’d like to edit. You can also select layers in this same panel.

Let’s start editing!

Tap on a text box one time to select it. You’ll notice along the top, you now have a toolbar with many options including changing the font style, size and color. You’ll see this tool bar when ever you have any object selected on the template.

Tap once more on the text box to put it into editing mode. Once in editing mode, you can change the sample text to anything you’d like.

To move any object, hold for a second and drag it to the desired location. Tap off of the text box when you’re through.

To upload a photo, select the side menu button and tap the “elements pane.” Upload your image by tapping the blue button that has a cloud with an arrow in it. Choose a photo from your device.

If you have a template with a clipping mask shape, hold your photo over the shape and you’ll see it turn green. Hold it for a second longer and it will replace the sample image.

Scale the image up or down by using the scale button or grab the corner anchors and move them in or out. If you don’t have a photo inside a shape, simply move the image until it’s in the desired location and scale it to your liking.

At any time, feel free to save your work by tapping the file icon and choose "Save."

When you’re done editing, tap the download icon and choose the file type that you’d like to use. With your file you can print from home, use a copy center, send via text or email or use a professional print shop.
