'A criminal offence': US condemns attack on San Francisco's Indian Consulate by Khalistan supporters

In yet another attack on the Indian consulate in San Francisco, it was set on fire on July 2. Reacting to the attempted arson, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, "The US strongly condemns the reported vandalism and attempted arson against the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. Vandalism or violence against diplomatic facilities or foreign diplomats in the US is a criminal offense".
