Hakata Station, the Kyushu region's largest and busiest railway terminal in Japan, serves over 100,000 people daily. JR Hakata City surrounds JR Hakata Station, home to various shops selling gourmet food and souvenirs. It mainly consists of three large facilities: "Amu Plaza Hakata," "Hakata Hankyu," and "Hakata Deitos," and is also directly connected to "KITTE Hakata" and "JRJP Hakata Building."
