Does Weight Make A Difference In Go-Karts?

Being so great at racing you’re going to hear all the excuses but the common excuse? Weight

BORING!!!!

Talentless guys with no race sense blaming others for stuffing food in to thier face instead of self accountabilty that they just perhaps can’t drive

But what about the heavyweights who can drive? Is there a disadvantage to being on the heavier side? And if there is, how much of a disadvantage is it

We are at buckmore park on a 30 min open session to answer this very question

Split the session in 2 with 2x15 minute runs
1 - being the perfect specimen that i am
2nd - with a weighted vest to compare

Both 15 min sessions will consist of a 10 minute warm up to get dialed in then spending 5 mins getting good constant lap times to gather data to compare back to back
