‘Operation Northern Arrows’ against Hezbollah in Lebanon | Hundreds missing after Hurricane Helene

Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati says his country is facing one of the most dangerous stages in its history as Israel begins ‘limited ground raids’ on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The Israeli military says it has designated three border communities as a ‘closed military zone’.

Hezbollah's leadership earlier declared it would be ready to engage with Israeli forces on the ground.

More than 130 people have been killed by Hurricane Helene in the United States. And with hundreds more missing that death toll is expected to rise, even as rescue and recovery efforts ramp up.
