There are two IGA Lounge in Istanbul Turkey Airport, I will go to both of them and show you glimpse of what they look like and what to expect; you'll be able to decide which one is the best option and also a trick on being able to stay at both.

Istanbul, historically known as Byzantium and later Constantinople, has a rich and diverse history that spans thousands of years. Founded around 660 BCE by Greek settlers from Megara, it was originally called Byzantium. The city's strategic location on the Bosporus Strait, connecting Europe and Asia, made it an invaluable center for trade and culture. In 330 CE, Roman Emperor Constantine the Great re-established the city as the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire and renamed it Constantinople. Over the centuries, it grew to become a major political, cultural, and religious center, especially under the Byzantine Empire. In 1453, after a prolonged siege, the Ottoman Empire, led by Sultan Mehmed II, captured Constantinople, marking the end of the Byzantine Empire. The city was transformed into the capital of the Ottoman Empire and saw a period of significant architectural and cultural development. In 1923, following the establishment of the Republic of Turkey under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the city officially became Istanbul, transitioning from an Ottoman capital to the modern, cosmopolitan metropolis it is today, while retaining a rich blend of Byzantine, Ottoman, and modern influences.
