Chinese Hoisin Pork Belly Bites (serves 4)

4 thick cut pork belly slices (approx. 800g)
1 heaped tsp. Chinese 5 spice
1 tbsp. dark soy sauce

Hoisin Glaze:
1 tsp. garlic and ginger paste
2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
2 tbsp. dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1 small green chilli sliced

Method:

1: Cut the pork belly slices into bite sized pieces then pop into a bowl along with the Chinese 5 spice and soy mix well and leave to marinade for 20 minutes. Place on top of the crisp plate inside the air fryer drawer. Set your air fryer to 180c and cook for 16 minutes, shaking half-way through.

2: Whilst the pork belly is cooking make the glaze by mixing the garlic and ginger paste, hoisin, soy and sweet chilli. Pop the pork into a hot pan then pour this glaze over and toss well. Finally scatter over the sesame seeds and chilli then serve with rice.
